Site Words Vocabulary Print Out
Instructions:
The following words will appear at least twice in the SSCG Reading Books that will be used for class inshaAllah. Students will each week create word cards. After reading the story, students will be asked to find their words in the story to identify the words. Students will be asked to create new sentences using their word cards.
Game suggestion 1: Take the cards and lay them out on the table or floor, call out a word and have the children "Find It", once they find it they hold it up. If correct they keep the cards. Whoever has the most cards at the end wins the game inshaAllah.
Game Suggestion 2: Make two copies of the word cards and play "Go Fish", deal out four cards to each player. Stack the rest in a pile. Player 1 ask for a word card that they have to match the one in their hand, if the other player does not have the word card, they tell player 1 to "Go Fish". They must pick 1 word card from the pile. Player 2 takes a turn by repeating the same process inshaAllah until they have found their word card match. When a player has found their word card match and has matched all their cards they have "Won" the game, but can continue until all the word cards are matched.

It is important to start teaching basic math and science skills to our young ones please use the
interactive worksheets here once a week to help with your current studies inshaAllah.
Now test your knowledge inshaAllah
Every year, nearly 5,000 kids mostly toddlers fall out of windows; 28 percent require a hospital stay, and dozens die. A child who falls 10 feet can suffer spinal cord injury, paralysis and fatal head injury. SAFE KIDS strongly recommends window guards on all windows above the first floor, preferably guards equipped with an emergency release device in case of fire.
A screen is not a safety device. It's designed to keep insects out, not to keep children in. Proper window guards were shown to reduce fatal falls by up to 35 percent as part of a pilot program in New York City. In an apartment in a high-rise building, window guards should be considered essential safety equipment.
Still, no safety device can take the place of active adult supervision. Always keep an eye on kids around open windows. Toddlers have been known to fall out of windows open as little as five inches.
SAFE KIDS also reminds parents and caregivers:
Visit the Safety Tips page for more information about window safety, falls and childproofing. National Window Safety Week is an annual program of the National Safety Council.
