My dear noble brother in Islam, all praise is due to Allah, may Allah raise your ranks and grant you and your family Jannah, along with a continuous mercy in this life, aameen.

We would like to open the door of our request as an opportunity for you to Instruct the youth or for topics to be taught at THM Sadaqa Group for the students and participants in general on a regular basis. If you are interested in this opportunity please let us know inshaAllah. We will patiently await your response. May Allah guide you towards this good action, aameen. Upcoming Opportunity:

Our New Semester for Winter 2009 is approaching on January 5, 2009 and last until April 2009. We are in need of Male Instructors for the Young Salafi Sahab classes. The ages of the boys range from 6yrs to 14 years of age. Currently, they are in courses on Monday and Thursday from 3:30pm - 4:30pm with Abu Arba. You are of course able to choose your own days and times, to not be in conflict with the current course taught by Abu Arba (may Allah grant him an abundant reward, aameen). Each class session is for 1 hour inshaAllah. The subject can be from either category of Islamic Studies - (Arabic, Quran, Fiqh, Hadeeth, or Aqeedah)

We hope that you will consider this an opportunity to reach the youth through instruction by teaching them the correctness of religion.

Again we thank you in advance for any participation in our program, may Allah guide you to see its necessity and reward you with good, aameen. We also sincerely ask of you, because we know that you may be extremely busy with your task and duties that you find it within yourself, if you are not able to do so, to delegate the task to someone whom you see fit to handle the responsibility inshaAllah. May Allah accept this as a good deed from all of us Aameen.

Class Cancellation Poster: this poster is for use when classes have been cancelled. If you see it in the room that means that your current class for that day has been cancelled. Check back for your next class though! Admin.

Taking Notes for a Lecture:

All students who wish to increase in their own personal study, learn to take notes for lectures, practice grasping the main idea of a topics and increasing in beneficial ILM inshaallah should place a genuine effort in attempting to achieve this goal. The lecture content will change every week inshaAllah. We may listen to an audio, or live dars, and tele-links where recording is not allowed. So learning to capture key points of a lecture are essential for future task, such as the lectures given by albaseerah.org or Live Salafi Publications, and even Live Salafi Duroos.

Please come prepared to take notes (notebook or miscrosoft word program)
Making sure you title your paper with the Name of the Lecture, Credited to person giving the lecture, and the Date
Please include any text associated with the lesson, whether it be referenced books, articles, or treatise.
Make reference for Qur'aan and Ahaddith in the margins so you can go back later and fill in the appopriate information
Make note of past and present scholars mentioned
Make note of authentic text and treaties mentioned
You can submit your notes or transcribed lectures for others to benefit/Please write your Kunya on it

For those of you who may miss the scheduled lecture, you may have another opportunity to listen to the lecture if it is a pre-recorded audio inshaAllah, any dars other than these you will have to rely upon the notes of your peers. Submission for your notes is under the same guidelines as previously stated any additional information will be posted.

Question:

What is the ruling on a man who registers his son or his daughter in a French or English school – which are both in opposition to the teachings of the Religion. Whilst he claims to be a Muslim and that he is seeking a good future for them?
Answer:

It is obligatory upon the father that he cultivates his offspring – whether they are male or female with an Islamic cultivation. For they are a trust in his hand; and he will be responsible for them on The Day of Judgement. Thus it is impermissible for him to enter them into the schools of the disbelievers for fear of fitnah (trial) and of the corruption of ones belief as well as manners/conduct.
The future is in The Hand of Allaah The Majestic and Most High, Allaah The Majestic and Most High says:

((And whosoever fears Allaah, then He will make his matter easy for him.)) (Soorah At-Talaaq: 4)
