Academic Education Enhanced Course for ESL Students

  The Adult Secondary Academic Education Enhancement Course provides additional assistance to students whose first language is not English, but has previously attended or graduated from traditional academic settings of High School or Alternative schools. Participants are instructed with the following course objectives: Intermediate literacy/phonics, Vocabulary, General reading comprehension, Text in format, Reference materials, Reading strategies, Reading and thinking, and Academic-oriented skills.

 

This course is for student at the entry level for College Prep Courses Only!

 

Seating is limited so enroll early - Enrollment Periods are:

  January 1 - 10th or  May 1 - 10th,

 

 The course provides single semester block scheduling (SSBS) with three (3) hour sessions, three (3) days a week for three (3) months per semester.
