DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION
Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh
Dear Student;
I welcome you to the THM Sadaqa Group, FTS Online, and InHouseGA programs, Your Standard Salafi Curriculum Guide to Academic and Islamic Studies education for online and at-home assistance, and hope that you will enjoy your studies with us inshaAllah.
When you register, you will either receive in print or will have access to online (website) tutorials, providing you with a Welcome letter and schedule for the current year. The Welcome letter lists only those courses that are available at the school on the date of registration.
Students who do not have access to the Internet at home must state so when registering so that the available tutorials may be sent to them by post via snail mail in the U.S.
Check the courses available to you against the online schedule. Unless indicated otherwise (e.g. out of session or seasonal only courses), you should have received all the items listed in the welcome letter. Should any of the course items be missing, please proceed immediately according to the instructions given on the letter or contact the Administration immediately.
Hints and rules on writing assignments: length, reference system, format, etc will be made available to you.
The course study guides will take you through the major topics that you will cover during this academic year. Read it very carefully and try to follow all the instructions and guidelines given. I should also warn you not to limit your reading to the workbooks, eBooks, or reference books mentioned, as the field of Academic, Islamic and Arabic studies is very vast. The reading material and references suggested are intended to prepare you for the end of school exam and to enable you to participate in more advanced Academic, Islamic and Arabic course options (e.g. OIC); they are "just the beginning".
Should you have any questions regarding any of the Study Guides, materials, requirements or schedules please do not hesitate to contact the Administrator.

A Question posed to Shaikh Falaah Isma’eel (May Allah preserve him) by Abu Abdis Salaam Al Juyaanee about a sister who has never sat with anyone “teaching” in an on-line Islaamic School.
The questioner asked, O Noble Shaikh there is a question from a sister who teaches in an on-line Islaamic School.
The Shaikh interjects, “How is this done, what do you mean, how is this?”
The questioner replies, the school has a web site where on it one can find the link to the (virtual) class room where only the female students have access to it, they hear her voice but can not see her, similar to paltalk and the like.
The Shaikh said, “Na’am na’am.”
(The question continues) This sister attends the daily classes of Shaikh Doctor Saalih As Saalih on the internet, as well as the classes (when available) from the Shuyookh of Ahlis Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah, like Shaikh Ali Tawaijari, Shaikh Al ‘Allammah Ubaid Al Jaabiree, Shaikh Saalih As Suhaimee, and other then them (May Allah preserve them all) from the Mashiayikh of Ahlis Sunnah. So the question is O Shaikh is it permissible for (the likes) of this sister to read to the children from the books of Ahlis Sunnah and then formulate questions for them based on what she has read to them, and teach them by way of these means?
The Shaikh said yes why do you ask?
The questioner: Because there are people who say that she is not allowed to teach because she has never sat with anyone.
The Shaikh replied, I see do these people who are trying to prevent her have an alternative teacher?
The questioner, no, not from what I know O Shaikh, in fact these classes would have to stop if this is so.
The Shaikh asked, but she is reading from the books of Ahlis Sunnah and asking them questions?
The questioner, na’am O Shaikh. For example, Important Lessons For Every Muslim by Imaam Bin Baaz has been translated. For example she will read to them about the true meaning of La Ilaha IllAllah, its conditions, what is necessitated by it, the Pillars of Isalaam, Articles of Faith and other basic things such as this, and then she asks them questions to test their comprehension. She does not try to explain these books she just reads them to them and questions them on it.
The Shaikh asked and what is the age of the pupils?
The questioner, they are little kids O Shaikh, like seven, eight and so on and down (i.e. younger).
The Shaikh asked, is she one who posses, does she correctly understand what she hears and reads from the ‘Ulamaa? Is she one with a good mind?
The questioner, na’am insha Allah.
The Shaikh said ok, based on this my opinion is that it is ok for her to teach within the guidelines that where stated and as long as she does not go beyond them. However, in order to bring tranquility to the hearts of those who try to prevent her and the parents, one or two of her classes should be recorded and reviewed by some of the students of knowledge there so as to review the content.
